Völkermarkt District Hotels

The best. Traveling with 2 friends for the last 30 years over much of the world, I would rank this one of the most delightful small hotels. Lovely third floor suite overlooking Lake Bled complete with the perfect castle highlighted by a rainbow. Staff was young and professional while maintaining a warm sense of humor. Arranged all of our requests immediately and were helpful with excellent suggestions for our three days in the area. Variety of guests from a Lebonese biking group speaking French...

The place is beautiful, close to the airport and the room was very spacious. Jana, the owner, is very kind and helpful. I had an enjoyable stay at this charming house

Excellent stay and hospitality. Will try and visit again

We booked the hotel based on the proximity to the airport and were DELIGHTED by the attentiveness, and overall standards of this sparkling, charming little gem set in the Slovenian hills - complete with a running brook and frost covered trees. The overall standards - room, service, cleanliness, & comfort- were a treat for two road-weary travelers. Would definitely recommend; will definitely return.

Great hotel, loved location, rooms great. Highly recommend.

Great location, friendly Staff, quiet rooms. A tea-kettle in the room would have been nice. Recommend!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room

We enjoyed every moment we stayed at the Penzion Berc. The owners and all staff were above and beyond in meeting our needs. The food was very delicious and made our stay very complete and very quaint and perfect. Thank you!!!

Just perfect, love it!!!!!

Room looks like a what you have seen in a fairy tales. Clean and cosy. They have a great restaurant within the hotel. Best stake I’ve ever had in my whole life and I’m almost 60 and travelled everywhere.

The host went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The property was perfect. Very convenient, well-decorated and easy to stay. Lovely views out of the back patio. Excellent wifi and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend.

Íme egy természetes hangvételű, 5 csillagos angol értékelés: ⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. What makes this hotel truly special is that it is situated within the grounds of a centuries-old monastery, giving it a unique atmosphere that you simply cannot experience in an ordinary hotel. The building and its surroundings are fascinating, full of history and charm, making the stay a memorable...

Nice room with some common areas. Good location not too far from the lake. Convenient parking at the property. Option for breakfast in a nearby hotel or we actually purchased a nice breakfast basket with fresh, local products that lasted us for two meals.

Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We did several times and it was wonderful, the staff explain how it works and it went off without a hitch. and it you enjoy hiking the mt trail is just down the road, I did one morning and my brother did the next. Its worth the hike to see the church and its not as hard as it seems, several places to rest. Several nights for dinner we...

Very spacious & clean !! Parking lot was also good. And the hotel was very near to downtown..

Absolutely wonderful accommodations and can hardly fault them at all. The professionalism and hospitable nature of the staff as well as a great breakfast assortment and chef who will cook your eggs to any style you like! Our attic room was spacious, meticulously clean and quiet also had a huge TV and a refrigerator as well Kudos! Highly recommended by me and my wife

Was a good place as a single night stay. Having the bunk beds was nice for the kids since it’s kind of difficult to find rooms with 4 person sleeping arrangements without a sleeper sofa. They appreciated having their own bed.
