"Front desk person Heidi was so unhelpful. She never pointed out hand written sign in Danish giving WiFi. Neither the sign in Danish that the luxurious dinning room had no alcoholic drinks. We said no to breakfast which she put on our bill anyways Dinner was so unbelievably slow that people were knocking on the kitchen door. This is a magnificent property but they need staff who are trained."

"Hotel Aero is a traditional Danish hotel that seems frozen in time since the days of sail. Helpful, friendly staff who almost all speak English. Clean, comfortable and in close proximity to central Svendborg. The food is excellent and very Danish - the freshly cooked and prepared breakfast buffet is a particular highlight. This was the third time we have stayed there and it just gets better and better. Highly recommended and a cut above bland, modern hotels"
