St. James Hotels

From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).

Excellent complete package. I've stayed at many other hotels and definitely prefer this one. High quality rooms, great privacy and very interested.

Very small for a Fairmont but very nice property with all 72 rooms facing the sea. Everything you could want is on the property. Only challenge is that, for those who must roam, you must walk a bit to town, take a very convenient and inexpensive public bus, or taxi if you don't have a rental car. Staff was the most pleasant and accommodating I have ever encountered.

If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. This resort made our trip. We stayed for a week in late September 2015 to celebrate a major birthday. The Colony Club upgraded our room (probably possible only because it was off-season), and started our vacation off right with delicious rum punches and a bottle of champagne. We just returned from our second stay, and once again it was such a beautiful experience! I never review any place I've been, but this place really exceeded my expectations. First off, I should say: The staff said this was their busy season, with occupancy around 90%. But, it didn't feel that way. No problem getting a table at the restaurants, no problems finding a place to sit at any of the pools... even if we came down at noon, there were always beach chairs available. Had a great stay at Mango Bay for five nights in mid April 2017. Reviews were right on. We had a room overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The pool closes early, noise was never an issue. The beach was small but amazing, highly underrated. The best part is the food! a 1 bedroom apartment close to the beach and shopping. The bus to town is a quick walk away. Staff was great and everything was clean. Will stay there anytime we visit the island. Loved the experience.

Our stay at Blue Monkey was incredible from start to finish. The property is beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Although we were very disappointed that alot of the restaurants weren't open and the wait for food was loooong, we had a fabulous time! Stayed in the Chairman 2 bedroom suite, it was stunning! Colby, Javier, Rachelle, Nicolai and the entire staff went above and beyond!

Well spent four days, very relaxing if you are looking for time away from the hustle. Will definitely be returning with the family.

A well-maintained property with clean rooms, great pool and a very nice beach, with helpful staff that are happy to set up sun beds with towels and shade. There is drink service at the beach although a bit slow. However, there is cold drinking water available via self-serve all the time. One important tip - the beach is divided into three by barrier rocks. Of the three sections, the one furthest away from the towel cabana has best ocean floor - with almost no rocks. This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!
