This was the ideal place to stay while seeing the Peninsula, with just breathtaking views......glacier views in the back, crashing waves in the front. So quiet, well appointed and reasonable.

This is a great place. Out of the way but well worth the stay. Early 1900’s far with a building that was recently converted. Lovely room. Clean bathrooms. I would have given this place the highest of marks but the app would allow me to get to those buttons. The hostess was so kind and helpful.

The most friendly and helpful hotel staff we've ever met. The hotel is located in a beautiful valley that overlooks the hills and the sunset. The outdoor hot bath was an amazing experience and wonderful amenity. Breakfast was delicious as well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Prior to arriving I let the staff know we would be arriving early due to a early flight and needed to freshen up due to me proposing. They made the accommodation. We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. This was a nice guesthouse. It’s far out from the main road and a really quiet area.
