"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...

Whilst it's sad to see so many areas "offline" and either waiting renovation or refurbishment, the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful.

"Positive are-safe parking, a large shower, the motel is in the main street so access to everything shops, pubs and restaurants but still quite rooms.
Negative are no outside seating, only a small window and had wash cups in the bathroom."

Had a lovely night at CABN...the kitchenette while small was enough to cook dinner and then the stools and shelf-style table gave us a chance to eat while looking out at nature. The bed was comfy (tricky has one person did have to climb over the other to get out) but AC was super efficient for our 45 degree day and the shower was warm and had plenty of water pressure. And waking up to kangaroos in the front of our cabin was neat!
The Farm Barn was the perfect getaway! I was in Adelaide on business and didn't want to stay in the city so I chose the Farm Barn. It was so nice to pet a little lamb after a busy stressful day at work. The animals are so well taken care of and they surround the cabins. The cabins have a great floorplan with a nice size bathroom and kitchen. The wide open space and massive windows made me feel like I was outside. I loved sitting on the bed watching the sunset over the hills. I loved that...
Amazing property close to the city but feels like you are in the wilderness. Views are spectacular, property is pristine and cutting edge, and the service is above and beyond! Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent and it is quiet and clean. My arrival and departure were such that I never met any member of the staff, but service was good.
All staff always helpful during our short stay, nothing was a problem, booked for one person, one breakfast, meant to book for two of us, easily fixed.
Room very comfortable, excellent space, like the size of two rooms, relaxing.

Clean and spacious to suit our needs. Restaurant was delicious. The band playing all night was loud but we had a sound machine that helped with the noise. Staff was friendly.
