"Nothing to brag about. About 2 miles from the Banff town strip. Definitely not a resort. Thermostat wasn’t responding. Needs some real renovations"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. We were traveling with two other couples and the staff put us close to each other which we appreciated. We took advantage of the hot tubs with the mountain views a couple of times - wonderful! We ate breakfast, enjoyed happy hour and even later night drinks at the restaurant in the lobby. Food was very good and not your average, run-of-the-mill menu but elevated and unique. We liked the fact that we were at the end of Banff Avenue, essentially at the beginning of town, which provided for a more tranquil experience than if we were in the midst of everything. Everyone we traveled with had nothing but compliments for Hotel Canoe and Suites. Would stay there again and highly recommend you stay there when you're in Banff!!"
