"Everything was good, but the hotel was dated and will look really nice once they are able to renovate it. We couldn't beat the price for attending a concert at Mohegan Sun. I couldn't see paying $400+ for the hotels closer to Mohegan Sun. The Grand Lake Hotel was worth the cost we paid."

The mansion itself is gorgeous, situated on a lovely piece of property complete with a goat and some vocal chickens. The innkeeper, Amanda, was a perfect hostess, a combination of easygoing and welcoming, complete with delicious homemade cookies and thoughtful touches throughout and a delicious breakfast.
