"The hotel is laid out across East & West Railay Beach. Sitting just outside of the Western end of the Property is where one can enjoy a glorious sunset. The Property could use some update and refurbishment but overall still in.good form."
"Best stay on Railay beach, especially considering the price. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfy, the shower pressure is perfect, and they even have a rooftop pool. It is a convenient walk to the beach and laundry services. Highly recommend!"
"This place is paradise. There’s no better view in Railay than from poolside at Phutawan. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The drinks are amazing. Best resort on the island, will stay anytime I’m in Railay!"
"Private long tail boat access with free breakfast. Close to West Beach Railey. Don’t miss the 4 island cruise with snorkeling and Thai lunch with Get Your Guide. Tonsai Bay Resort has beautiful scenery too. "
"Beautiful location, incredibly kind and helpful staff, easy access to three great beaches, gorgeous outdoor pool overlooking railay beach…
Can’t fault it, fantastic!"
"Beautiful place & location, lovely 2 tiered pool. Room was great (NB power is only on 5pm to 10am as use a generator, but not an issue; room stays cool if you keep door & curtains closed - just remember to charge up devices over night if needed). Tonsai is the perfect place to relax as it’s just out of the way enough for the masses to avoid (they stick to Railay & Ao Nang) - here is full of climbers so the beach is relatively empty and restaurants serve big portions of amazing food! Mama’s...
"We only stayed here for 2 nights, to be well located for travel to Koh Phi Phi. For this, the hotel was fine.
Generally a little worn around the edges, but not an issue if you're out most the time.
Pool area was nice, and the hotel was well located for restaurants, bars, beaches, boat trips. "
"Overall really great experience, lovely staff, good location and can rent a bike from the hotel for any far way excursions. Very close to the beach and more importantly a 7/11!"

Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, West Railay Beach is a spot you might want to check out, located 6.1 mi (9.8 km) from central Krabi. Catch the sunset by the shore at Phra Nang Beach, just a short walk away.
If want to top up your tan, you might want to head out to Phra Nang Beach, located 6.3 mi (10.1 km) from central Krabi. Catch the sunset by the shore at West Railay Beach, just a short walk away.
Whether you want to hunt for sand dollars or smell the fresh air, Tonsai Beach is a spot you might want to check out, located 6.2 mi (10 km) from central Krabi. Catch the sunset by the shore at Ao Phai Plong Beach, just a short walk away.
Railay Beach is home to Phra Nang Cave, so why not stop by during your stay in Krabi. The local area is also good for activities like snorkeling and hiking.
If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, hang out at Princess Lagoon in Railay Beach. Why not take a stroll along the beaches and watch the sunset while you're here? Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Tup Island, located nearby.
Staying at the Macaque Villa and Languor Villa was the best decision we made. It is like living in paradise. The villa was clean, the staff was attentive and helpful, and the property's backdrop was to die for. Highly recommend!
We had a FANTASTIC time at Rayavadee! Throughout our travels in Thailand, we stayed at all 5 star hotels and resorts, but this was by far our favorite. When you arrive, it's as if you are arriving at Fantasy Island. We were mainly going to relax, and our customer representative Julian made sure that everything was as we wanted it. Our villa was perfect in everyway. The food at all the restaurants was wonderful. The spa was superb. The pool was great. There are three beaches (two for swimming),...
Very unique location and rustic. I liked it’s a small resort for mostly adults, so it was quiet and relaxing. We were in the family unit which did feel like camping with lockers for closets and the bigger cement wall bathroom with fans. Grateful for air conditioning in the bedroom unit. The master bedroom mattress was quite hard, not very comfortable. But the view from the front and back windows were amazing.
Fantastisk beliggenhed, dejlig fin strand i den vestlige side. Lidt larm fra Long tails.

My wife and me stayed there for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave. The hotel is beautiful, located in a quiet place and our biggest problem was deciding whether to go to the beach or to one of the 2 swimming pools.
This is a beautiful site that feels natural and authentic. We had a private room and bathroom with air-conditioning. The rooftop balcony had great views. The food was some of the best we ate in Krabi and Bangkok. I'm so glad for this experience of Thailand vs a typical resort that could be on any beach. There were steps and an uphill climb to the room, so it could be challenging for some.
Hotel is on East Railay, but it is only a short walk to West Railay and Phanang Beach. It is waterfront on East Railay. The facilities are wonderful--infinity pool, dining, rooms. The rooms are divided into the economy rooms (a short walk) and the more superior rooms (very close to dining and pool). We were upgraded without hesitation when we had an issue with our room (staff immediately addressed the issue and upgraded us without having to be asked). There is a difference between the...

This was a very nice and private resort. There were party areas of the island within walking distance, but this resort is close to that yet also far enough away that it is quiet. Our rooms were clean and we had a couple lizards visit us in the bathroom...they were more scared of us than us of them. A fresh warm breakfast is served daily, which is convenient as well.
The property was very pretty. It offers a tranquil atmosphere and great service. Food was top notch. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen at a resort. We went on the private boat tour and it was a highlight of our trip. I have stayed at Las Ventanas in Cabo and the Rosewood in Mayakoba and can say that I prefer the Banyan tree. Great for adults or families. I had a partial view room and it was great. I would recommend this property to travelers seeking a luxury experience and...
The Ban Sainai was like staying on a tropical island. It is very spread out, but the staff were always ready to drive you from your room to the pool or reception area. The breakfasts were very good as were the meals at the pool. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and we spent plenty of time there. The resort has a regular shuttle schedule to take you to the beach. This was an awesome experience to stay at the Ban Sainai.
The experience at this hotel was unbelievable. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. We had a beach pool villa and I can't even express how beautiful it was. When we arrived the tub in the restroom was prepared with flower petals floating in the water. The views from this hotel were gorgeous! and it was so nice to have the beach just for the hotels is the area. Not crowded at all. We took a couple of trips to see other islands nearby and it was great!
The food was also really...
