Rooms have been updated in a clean, modern style with coffee maker, mini fridge, etc. Property is well maintained... even though they have implemented a virtual front desk, communication was excellent and the online check-in / check-out process straightforward and easy to follow."

"You cannot beat the location of this hotel. It is on the beach at Lake Tahoe with a swimming pool overlooking the beach. The staff is super kind and helpful. I have been coming here for years and come back because it is so much fun to stay here."

"Beautiful pet friendly hotel. Friendly and courteous staff. We stayed in the townhome option and it was very comfortable. Complete with a beautiful kitchenette, two private balconies, personal EV charging inside personal garage unit, two fireplaces, outdoor heating, heated bathroom floor, there is too much to mention. Plus it's in a great location, walking distance to Harrahs and Cesars Maggie's restaurant on property was convenient and a very good for a nice meal. Definitely recommend...

"Amazing property right on the lake, I chose Edgewood because of the view and it did not disappoint, even more beautiful than the photos. The spa was closed during our stay and golf does not start until May, but we still enjoyed being there and relaxing along the water. "

"I've stayed in most of South Lake's "cheap" hotels over the years for 1-nighters between ski days, and this one was probably the best for the price. Spacious with a good bed and good shower. No frills, but thoughtful decorative touches made Trailhead feel fresh, mountain-y and welcoming. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Big Pines! The room was clean, no complaints for the affordable price. There is also free parking. Shout out to the front desk, Puna, shes very welcoming and helpful. She gave us vouchers to enter the private beach. The hotel location is very convenient, walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Would stay here again!!"
