"Fabulous stay at stay @FL, wish we’d had more time at the actual venue as the surroundings are fantastic!! Very peaceful and Paul was great! We had a lovely breakfast of poached egg (resident chickens) and salmon/ham! Would defo recommend, also take walking shoes (trainers) and go for a walk!! "

"We loved our stay at the Bear. If you’re a Pooh Bear admirer, it’s an absolute must! Cute and cozy rooms with Hundreds-Acre Wood wallpaper and tastefully themed decor. A five minute (if even) walk to Pooh Corner and an easy walk to the Pooh Sticks bridge and other Ashdown Forest spots. Reliable parking in their lot, which is a big plus if you’ll be travelling by car. Great food and drinks at the pub as a bonus! Would absolutely recommend!"

"A great place for an overnight near Gatwick. A Tesco is 10 min walk way and the train Three Bridges 15min, so easily connected. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Hotel has big carpark.room quite spacious . Down side bathroom toilet right by bathroom door. Need to ensure hot choc and coffees, milk is enough for room. Polite staff. Bteakfast N/A Pool didnt use."

"The hotel was really well located. Easy to access The staff were attentive and friendly-At reception, bar, restaurant and cleaners. The rooms were lovely but the decor and especially the carpets were tired and need updating. Very small fan and no aircon so quite hot during heatwave The range of menu choices were great, and value for money both for breakfast and evening meal. All our meals were superb We’d stay there again."
