"Located off the main highway through Rockhampton, the hotel is a lovely heritage hotel which has been renovated and well maintained. High ceilings, nice and clean and well priced for Rockhampton I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone who can appreciate an older building. The staff were helpful and there was a security guard on duty overnight so we felt our car would stay safe. The area is still busy with some road noise and near a train yard, but we slept very well in the super comfy HUGE bed. Across the road is the Best Western pub where you can grab a meal until late. I enjoyed my visit."

We drove to Emu park for dinner at the Bowls club which we highly recommend as $2 for membership gets you 10% off food and drinks and ample gluten-free options for our coeliac daughter."
