"We got room 8. It had an excellent view of the lake. The motel was walking distance to the Dark Sky Project, which was the main reason for this choice. The motel was warm and had great functionality. Super spacious bathroom which included both a shower and a large spa tub. The bed was heated and comfortable. The kitchenette didn't have a microwave oven, although it looked like it did at one time. The walls/ceiling were a bit thin, so we were conscious of keeping our TV volume down. I think the staff ran the motel, a restaurant, and a tourism (or at least arranged tours) place. They were friendly and were actively working everywhere. I got the impression of ants. lol The restaurant coupon for the breakfast is nextdoor, a 1 minute walk from our room. It's a noodle place mostly, but we enjoyed the breakfast. There was a choice of many dishes. In all, I would return. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, not to mention the walking locations to the lake, parks, trails, grocery store, restaurants, and general shopping were excellent."
