They went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable and the whole experience felt relaxed and well-organized. "A perfect cottage in an idyllic location next to Lys Y fran reservoir. Dog friendly do don't expect immaculate cottage but clean and in good order. Very comfortable all round. Swimming pool and lovely grounds. Being next to water dpirfz centre and visitor centre cafd a great bonus too. Perfect for a peaceful get away."

"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....
