"Good sized room, adequate storage for two staying a week. Comfortable, very very quiet, and excellent central location in Goslar. Breakfasts were very good. Service in the hotel and at the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Only gripe, minor, but an issue for me with a bad back - bed was pretty hard. A good place to stay in Goslar - recommend it."

"At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. On leaving I realised I left my almost nearly new (expensive) CK shower gel behind and despite getting in touch that afternoon both by email and phone I received this reply at 20.00 - unfortunately we throw hygiene products from...

"We had a lovely vacation. Braunlage is a beautiful place in winter. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"What a lovely hotel nestled in the hills in Harz. We arrived in the evening amd the staff was very welcoming. We were given a suite, which was quite a pleasure after a long day of driving. The breakfast was VERY GOOD. We enjoyed a swim in the pool before travelling onward. We will remember this hotel amd come again when we are back in Harz."
