"The kindness of the owner is what made this stay the best in my entire trip! It was raining at night, so the owner drove me to the Tori gate just to see it lit up at night. He also gave recommendations to a beautiful Sakura park nearby. On top of that, in the early morning I wanted to feed the deer, and he went to a spot he knew to call them over so I could feed the deer. The room was also spacious with a nice balcony, and the bathroom was very modern and clean. It’s very quiet so I could relax...

We signed up for the breakfast and dinner, and they were five star restaurant worthy. An incredible delightful assortment of delicious dishes at every meal. Don’t miss it! "

"Despite the name, this is not a hotel. It is a single apartment in an apartment block above a convenience store that is being let out like a holiday-rental or an Air-BNB.
That said, it was wonderfully spacious and roomy – we slept 5 people on two double beds and a futon on the tatami floor. It also had a kitchen and laundry and living room.
The location was also great – walking distance to many things with the tram-line on the street and Hiroshima train station not far away."

The kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were delicious, and the public bath was clean and tidy. We had access to a private bath (by appointment), but were too tired to take advantage. There was also a gift shop downstairs with local gifts.
The staff were helpful and friendly, and also dropped us off at the ferry at the end of our stay."
