"Excellent strategic location, easily reachable by car on paved roads. The Pousada is small and quiet, and has a wonderful view of the Serra da Canastra. The rooms are adequately sized, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The town of Vargem Bonita offers various amenities reachable even on foot. Overall, it is an excellent base from which trips can be made further into the national park."

"Wonderful views, both from the common areas as well as from the rooms. Breakfast was superb, definitely having a 'homemade' feel to many options. Varied activities available on-site, and the town itself is nice. Sauna hours are a bit limited... But the staff is courteous and professional."
