"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

"Eric was a wonderful host. We sadly could only stay one night on our way to Carcassonne, but the stay was a wonderful and memorable one. The room was perfect with a huge bathroom and very cosy all round. We had access to a wonderful garden with hammocks, lots of places to relax and a great pool. The breakfast in the morning was very generous and delicious. We will stay again. Highly recommended, but stay longer than on night if you can! "

"Very friendly welcome. Beautiful location with views out of the back of the hotel. Food very good and service excellent. Room was very basic and hot - no fan or air conditioning so did not sleep well. Bathroom was basic (no shower :-( ) and all soap dispensers were empty. "

"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are...

"Lovely spot for an overnight on the way down through France, kids loved the facilities including pool and the accommodation was quirky and fun. Staff were really friendly and the food and coffee were great after a long day driving."

"We had booked here because it had EV charging points and a restaurant, and looked like a pleasant setting. We arrived to discover that the EV chargers were Tesla only, and the restaurant was closed. We'd just driven 400 miles, so were not pleased. After a lot of complaining and phone calls by the receptionist, it emerged that the chargers could be used with any EV (officially from October), and we were offered a rather simple (although expensive) meal in our room - a lentil and vegetable dahl...
