"Check in was poor no staff around and had to call a number. Not very welcoming. Directed to room. Room was not very clean felt like sand all in the wooden floor and bed, parts fell off the shower. Bathroom was really tight and could hardly move in there. Bed comfy but bed frame rickity and could do with a good tighten up. Smell of cannabis on the top floor from other rooms. Curtains poor and hardly blocked out the light. Carpet on stairs needed a good hoover. No breakfast options. Could hear the room next door on the toilet and coughing very loudly like they were in our room, walls very thin. Check out wasn’t great a lady just took the key off us no how was your stay or goodbye. "

"Breakfast was buffet style serve yourself. Plenty mid choice for me. Staff were really friendly. It’s an older hotel so the decor is a little tired but overall a good experience. "

"There was a lack of cleanliness in the room there was mold, hairs stuck to the wall near the bed, curtains had all different stains on them, the walls were dirty, the bathroom had hairs all over the shower, the bed covers had stains, there were dust all on the head rests above the bed, the staff tried to clean it but it still looked the same after."

"It didn’t get off to a good start as the lad checking us in said we haven’t paid and owe money for the stay. He repeated this several times that we needed to pay. We explained that we had paid and had confirmation if this from yourselves. He would not accept this (made us feel in the wrong). Showed him proof and he rung his boss, he said is was ok. Also he then took our bank card as he said he would need the details in case we did any damage. Felt almost threatening in his tone. We stayed here before and did not have to do this. After we eventually got checked in room was nice, clean and we enjoyed our stay. "
