"Positive: location, the peaceful feeling of a country house, the view on the fields and horses, cozy apartment.
Room for improvement: all 3 mattresses were sagging/broken, we all basically slept on springs.
The radiator of the 2 single beds room was so noisy we had to turn it off.
Wifi very weak but I guess it does not depend on the owners."
"Had a one night stay. Staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. The roads are a bit noisy but not to bad at night. Room was clean and tidy. Ate in the restaurant service was excellent and food very nice. Bar area had a dog friendly place to eat and dogs were allowed on terrace looking over the small lake. Saw a resident heron which was a nice treat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return"

"Fantastic , lovely stay , excellent host. Our second visit and lovely to see the new garden area and how the hotel has transformed within our last visit a year ago. We will be back."
"Pleasant experience, parking was good, was a lovely little pub served food till 2030. Food was really tasty. Tools could have a little more attention to detail but the bed was really comfortable and they had good coffee."
"Just reopened after a referb, and a few things were still being finished off, but the staff were hugely welcoming, the rooms were great and the new reception and bar areas look very smart."
"A decent sized room with a comfortable bed. A large bathroom with an excellent shower. Ideal for Cardiff City centre, with free on street parking available outside the property."
"Lovely clean room and the food offered at the property was delicious. A very comfortable 1 night stay, we would definitely return if in the area. Spa was nice and clean but quite small."

Amazing gem hidden in the country. Very comfortable rooms, relaxing, fun atmosphere in restaurants and bar with delicious food. We weren’t traveling with children, but there were amazing play areas, indoor and outdoor for children.
Such a lovely inn. The staff was wonderful. The deck was a charming place to spend a sunny afternoon. Food was delicious! Despite feeling like we were in a country town, It was about 10 minutes from the airport. Typical narrow hedge row roads all around!
A beautiful hotel in the centre of Cowbridge. Friendly staff, delicious food and a town centre that has some lovely little shops. Don’t hesitate to book a stay!
Outstanding staff and customer service. Everything was amazing. Breakfast can be a little for the price it costs or just lower the price of it. Otherwise truly exceptional.
The history of the building is fascinating. A 17th C building made from stones of the nearby ruins, Penmark Castle.
Terrific hosts and kind folks at the pub next door.
We enjoyed this lovely hotel. It was close to the castle, and restaurants and shopping. The staff were warm and helpful. They were delighted to tell us the history of the building. I especially liked the lounge and the outside, roof terrace for added relaxation.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was really well equipped and even though the windows were heavily frosted with no view the room was light enough. Lovely touches like robe, slippers and coffee machine.
