"We stayed at The Angel because we were attending a function there. The staff were very pleasant but it is quite basic. There is no breakfast and nearest car park about 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok but plenty of room for improvement. Rooms were quite cold, no carpet on floor so getting out of bed onto a cold floor woke you up! There are no staff over night at the hotel, I wouldn’t stay again."

The information on the website needs to be changed to say that there is no parking and directions to the nearest car parks added. Other than that, a pleasant room and nice food both in the bar and at breakfast."

Rooms very dated but clean, beds/ pillows not very comfortable but bathroom had been refurbished which was nice. Pool was warm, changing rooms very basic and needed money for hair dryer. Need to bring own towels for pool."
