Best Western Plus Cold Spring

"The property was beautiful and very well maintained, the rooms are a bit outdated. Smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling, beds and pillows were comphy. Bathroom tub does not really have a place to place your soap and shampoo. Room had a weak musty smell. Beds were made daily. Breakfast was decent. Dining room attendant was nice but a bit overbearing. Was a little intimidating and seemed to watch your every move. Manager was so awesome and friendly. I would recommend it. Great location."

"Overall, it was a perfectly fine stay, just some small picky points. Staff seemed fine, although the older gentleman doing the check in didn't even realize I was standing at the desk nearly arms reach away for a couple minutes, most of his sentences trailed off into muttering that a couldn't understand and took multiple several minute phone calls during my check in (one on a personal device), so checking in took a while, but we got there and I wasn't in a rush. The room was pretty clean, no complaints, even the bathroom which is often a sore spot was cleaned well, no weird smell in the room that I often notice with cheaper hotels. Grounds were kept looking nice and the breakfast looked well above average in my opinion. There was a HEAVY smell of cigarettes in the stairwell closest to the desk (the one they recommended using), so obviously someone frequently smokes in that stairwell, it was so strong I wound up taking a further away staircase or the slow elevator to go down the 2 levels just to not pass through it again."

"Loved the Staff from check-in to departure. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. The Inn & Spa were very clean and housekeeping was very accommodating. The spa massages we had were very nice and professional. Compliments to the chef, bartender and staff in the Bistro. We were well taken care of.
