Hotels in Kahaluʻu

This was my second time to book in this hotel in our recent trip to Hawaii. First reason is that it's close to the airport and second they had a free airport shuttle which is super convenient. It saved us some money because we just had to return the rental car a day early because we didn't need to drive to the airport. Shuttle drivers were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was sufficient enough to start the day. Overall, I would stay again the next time we go back to Hawaii. Mahalo!

The staff was wonderful, full of aloha spirit. The recreational area/pool was great and the lobby decor was pleasing. The planned activities and Tahitian dancers were fun and we learned about the Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures-which was very special.

We loved the space the space, lobby and in was convenient to the city bus route which was how we got around the city.

Bed was comfortable; amenities were great; view was fabulous

Have stayed here often over the years but not recently until this stay, the upgrades to rooms and AC are outstanding and the whole place has been upgraded. For those coming from afar there are THREE ABC stores a phenom in Hawaii, within a few hundred yards of the Hotel meaning you could come with nothing and up to 11pm we well equipped for your stay. This hotel was perfect for our little stay. We specifically did not want to stay in Waikiki, and this was the perfect distance away. We could still walk to the Waikiki area, but felt like we were in a quite neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel room was a suite, and we were not expecting that. I like that this property is so close to the beach and shopping area. The gym and laundry facilities located on the same floor was convenient. I was able to work out while waiting for the laundry to be done. The manager’s reception with live music and the breakfast with miso soup daily sweet fresh pineapple were really enjoyable. This condo was exceptional very well kept and everything was in walking distance me my wife and daughter enjoyed our stay here the view from the balcony of the ocean and mountains was awesome we will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Only con is that it has only a splash pool but it is a great place to relax

Great hotel for families! Really convenient walk to everything, beach, restaurants and shopping. The staff were really nice and hospitable! It was a trip back home I needed when I visited my sick Mom. The stay at Imperial was definitely calming and worth it! Definitely my go to next time in Waikiki!

It was a great place to stay a couple of nights

It is an old hotel, but all the facilities were clean and pleasant. The hotel swimming pool facilities were good, and Waikiki Beach was also visible from the accommodation. The best thing was the accessibility. It was convenient to walk to Waikiki Beach, close to the shopping center, and take a shuttle to cultural facilities nearby.

Everything felt great but I would recommend adding a few small items to the breakfast. On the website it looked like there would be bagels and juice options and fruit but all there were was croissants and chocolate muffins and then cereal which doesn’t really give a full continental breakfast set up. Was very disappointed in that since that’s partially why I booked a stay here, the breakfast. But other than that everything was good

Only thing that was inconvenient is they shut off water for a couple hours a couple days.

This property was by far one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed at Gorgeous and great amenities You truly feel like your on vacation here!!

The location is the apartment is perfect, most of the places were at working distance. I really like my stay and for sure I will return

I loved my holidays, the hotel very well located, very comfortable, everything very close to shops, food, the mall, the beach woow super accessible, and the room with everything necessary I felt like I was in my house and have equipment for the Beach. The only thing that is super bad is that the covers of the beds were dirty and the pillows had a bad smell for not washing them maybe and the supervisor or owner does not know what his position is but it is really very very rude.

They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.
