Hotels in Old Toronto

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located about 40 steps from Scotia Bank. We made the mistake of leaving the hotel on a rainy day to buy some snacks. Don't leave the building. Go to the basement and there is a full grocery store with fresh baked pizzas and other freshly made. The beds were comfortable, the pillows pretty nice, and not much noise from the street. Two complaints I have, the bathroom lighting is a bit dim with the mirror too far for my...

The rooms were clean, furniture was orderly, and had a wide variety of kitchen utensils at the ready.

The room was very clean and newly renovated. Family friendly setup with fast responding staff. Area is close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and wanted to do it in style. A friend had stayed at The Hazelton and recommended it. I'm so glad we took her advice. As an outgoing couple we loved the fact that it was just a few minutes walk from The ROM and all those amazing stores on Bloor St. I love to run and took a 5 miles run downtown and back and felt completely safe in a new city. The concierge Dean arranged with an driver a private tour of Niagara Falls a few wineries and the...

Absolutely loved staying here and plan to stay again

We recently spent a week in Toronto and decided to experiment with a boutique hotel versus a known chain. We were thrilled with The Ivy. Small, at only 4 rooms, guests are pampered and indulged; the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed from the uber comfortable bed, to the plush arm chair and private balcony. The bathroom was enormous and luxurious with a large walk in shower, soaker tub (and custom blend bath salts refreshed daily), and heated floors. The facilities included a fully...

This is a great option for a longer term stay because the units have full kitchens and washers and dryers. Note that it's not a a typical hotel with room service, rather, it's units in a residential building.

Amazing service and ambience

Prime choice in beautiful city

Great location, nice place

Fantastic stay, as always

We had a great stay with no issues. The staff were very pleasant at every encounter. My son loved the Omni kid activity bag they gave him and the WiFi worked well for him.

Side of property is under construction. Staff was helpful and prompt. Restaurant charged $4.00 per “unit” of tiny shrimp, which were overcooked. Restaurant service poor.

We booked through Wikipedia and contacted the property via the app on the check-in day, and they promptly assisted with check-in. We met at the building entrance at the check-in time, and the host personally showed us the room and handed us the keys. The room was newly built, very clean, and the building had staff on site, ensuring security and safety. We could reach out anytime for help, and they were very accommodating. Since it's a newly built building, the address wasn't accurate on Google...

We (a family of 4) really enjoyed our time at the ACE Hotel. Everything was just like expected!!! Clean, great rooms and a park and a foodhall right next door! We highly recommend this place!

The hotel was quite nice and the staff were very helpful. There is a lot of construction around the hotel but we did know that when we were booking and it didn't really bother us. The one issue was that the room was quite dark. The walls and ceiling are painted a dark brown so any light in the room just wasn't reflected. They need to do something about that. One other tip for anyone new to Toronto and traveling to local areas - if you use the train make sure you use the Go train and not Via for...

Loved it. We had a beautiful view from our room.
