"The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations."

"The hotel is close to the centre and well kept. It is modern unmanned hotel but help is available, should you need it. I wanted to change my room to be closer to my kids and my wish was granted. I also forgot my expensive earphones but they were posted out to me when i informed them. It’s by the river and i personally love the sound of gushing water. So, I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend it Harris"

"I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Zermatt. Thor helped me with my trail planning, the food was delicious. It was charming and perfect. Nobody is more careful about hotels than I am, and I am incredibly satisfied with my decision to stay there. Beds comfy. Very quiet. Great location. I have absolutely enjoyed my stay there."

"If you want to sleep past 7am, it won’t happen. Housekeeping and other guests start slamming doors promptly at 7. The first floor was insanely loud, I heard breakfast noise from the floor above. There’s no air circulation, even with windows open at night so if it’s warm out, prepare to sweat. The male employees were really kind but the females were rude. Getting an extra pillow and a fan in my room seemed to anger the front desk girls. Wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price."
