"The room itself was very outdated, with dirty, worn carpets and an old couch. While I could have overlooked that, the experience was significantly impacted by the staff interaction. On one particular night, the staff member was rude and gave us the option—at 11:00 pm—to either take a smaller room or cancel our reservation altogether, despite the fact that our reservation for two beds was made and confirmed four months in advance. There was no apology offered, which was disappointing given the situation. On a positive note, the pool area was actually quite nice."

"Cute renovated hotel in Amarillo. Very affordable. My only complaint was that there was little sound barrier between rooms in this older hotel structure and someone was playing music until 11 pm and you could hear people on the walkway until after midnight. "
