"Clean, tidy, great view of Barry island. Lots of local shops and train station close by. "

"We couldn’t find the hotel no signs, it looked like an empty building from outside, we had to park 20 minutes away. First room toilet didn’t work, we were given another room, not very clean, fixtures old rusty, windows awful, no ventilation or fans. We booked 2 twin rooms but they said we only booked one, was talking with Expedia for at least 45 minutes to try and sort everything out, then they could only give us a double and twin as they were full, but they gave us another twin when the first one couldn’t be used, the front desk kept lying. So! tried not to let it ruin the stay, but they made it stressful."

"Room and hotel clean if a little dated. Shower a little difficult to operate. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast ok but had the world’s slowest toaster. Small choice of different breads and pastries. Only eggs on offer were fried. "

"Fantastic location in Cardiff. Room was a little tired looking. Was informed at check in that they were having problems with the air con and this did not work throughout are stay. There was a lot of noise from near by pubs and club but this did not effect our stay but could if you are a light sleeper or have young children. Overall staff are very friendly and we had an enjoyable stay. "

"Very low quality breakfast. There was very basic continental options and the atmosphere of breakfast was grim. All tables were draped in black cloth. Looked like we were at a funeral. "
