"The room was big including the bathroom. It is close to shops and attractions. Staff were nice and the restaurant was fantastic. The food that the chef created was fabulous. The bed was comfortable. Overall it was a nice hotel. On the bottom times i had dinner in the restaurant, I had an espresso Martinis,beetroot, mandarin and goat cheese salad as an entrees and beef ragu ravioli as my main. So delicious it was fantastic."

This was a lovely apartment! It had everything that we needed. We had contact-free check in and check out and it was very simple. Parking was right there and the room was perfect.
Spacious rooms, had a separate queen bedroom, plus 2 twins in the living room area, kitchen with fridge and microwave and cooktop with any needed amenities. Had a heater for cool nights, separate laundry facilities that were just down the steps. Place could use some updating, but for our stay it was the right price and just fine for us
Place was great. Just what we needed and close to town for restaurants. The warm and friendly welcome was wonderful after a long day of travel in the road.
We have stayed here before and found it very good .We had a studio unit but the design of the unit makes the sleeping area seperate from the living ares .Restaurants , shops etc a couple of minutes walk away .Very good parking .

Staff were accommodating on our arrival as we arrived half an hour before check in. We did offer to wait about or go for a walk but our room was ready and we were able to check in. Parking was convenient and we enjoyed a lovely walk down to the train station.
We arrived at Aurora on George just as New Zealand was getting ready to go to level four for the coronavirus pandemic. We stayed three nights until we could fly back to the US. Chris the manager was SO helpful during this stressful time. He had to limit service to protect staff, but answered all our needs and made sure we had what we needed. It was a safe haven with its beautiful gardens and comfortable rooms. We were able to fix dinners when restaurants closed so the kitchenette was vital. This...
