My mom and I stayed two nights. The room was clean, and we could do an early check-in. It has a convenient location, is in the city's heart, and is close to a pharmacy, convenience store, and subway station.

My husband and I stayed at this property for my birthday, and it was a wonderful decision. Top notch service with great restaurants and proximity to many attractions. One highlight was the friendly willingness and capability of James to coordinate a last-minute private trip to Portobelo for us. Our booked excursion was cancelled at the last minute. We informed James and he made sure my birthday wish came true. We had a wonderful visit!
Our family visited Panama for vacation. The holiday Inn was clean, bed comfy, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely recommend to friends.
This is a great hotel in Panama City. It is in a good safe area of Panama City. We walked all around the area. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We did a lot of sightseeing in Panama and this made for a good base to do that. The breakfast was a good way to start the day. By the way, we used Uber for many trips and it worked great. We would definitely stay here again if we went to Panama City.
Older property but very clean. Loved how quiet it was. We had an ocean view room. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the ships come by for the canal. Would definitely stay here again!
This was my 3rd trip to Panama City this year and my first at this hotel. I stayed 8 nights.
I loved:
1. The location: closed to lots of bars, restaurants and well appointed supermarkets (El Cangrejo area). this is fantastic location ,
2. The service (always with a smile, and the front desk personal speaks English). Tips: guys don’t forget to leave a dollar tip a day for the cleaning lady.. goes a long way.. not a big deal for most clients.
3. The night club on the rooftop: it is only loud...
My wife and I travel a lot, this time we were in Panama for the longest ever vacation, 2 weeks. The Metro Hotel surpassed our expectations, cold a/c and hot water all the time, comfortable and no noise from other rooms, no insects whatsoever, bathroom very modern, daily room cleanup, free limited breakfast coffee/tea, fruits, eggs or pancakes, cereal, juice. The wait staff were very friendly, Tata and Alvaro in the small restaurant that seats 24 were very friendly, proactive, and a few mornings...
My husband & I stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel in the heart of Casco Viejo, Panama. We loved the place. Staff is super helpful and kind. LOCATION LOCATION. Main Plaza and Cathedral are located one block away. Main places to visit, plazas, great rooftops, and great restaurants are at walking distance. When back to Panama will definitely go back to this hotel.

PROS:
(1) The hotel itself is exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the bathrooms to the actual rooms to the pool/spa area to the dining/bar area, all were clean.
