"Pool was nice, staff was nice, room was decent enough for one night stay but the overwhelming damp/mold smell in the hallways was brutal. They clearly knew it was a problem because they had a million fans out in the halls but sold these rooms anyway. Super gross, wouldn’t come back, this place needs major renos "

"Room was clean, only thing I found strange was the lack of wash cloths. Not use to that. As non-Spanish speaker that was at times a struggle to communicate but that would be on me where the primary language is Spanish. Did not visit the bar while there. Breakfast was good."

"I stayed at Principe Hotel and Suites in El Cangrejo, Panama City for 10 days in April and had a great experience. The location is perfect—close to banks, grocery stores, clothing shops, food spots, the subway, and there’s even a 24-hour convenience store right next door. The rooms are excellent, with AC, blackout curtains, WiFi, TV, and daily housekeeping. There’s also a small pool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the WiFi in our room sometimes dropped or lagged. Other than that, everything was great. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again later this year."

"The room was clean. Staff was pleasant, however there need to be better communication about the property, dos & don'ts when you are being booked in. Staff need to be aware of the number of guests in a room so that it can be stocked adequately. Poor /spotty internet in the rooms. Breakfast was great."

"Staff was friendly, but took their time to solve issues. There was air conditioning in the room, but doesn't get cold. It was just a fan. I complained because I woke up sweating. I had to wait another night before they transferred me to another room because “the rooms they had available were double.” Next day, they transferred me to another hospital room without letting me know and they moved my stuff without asking me or me being there. When I got to the hotel all my stuff was in another room. I had to let the reception know that I was missing my personal wash rag. When they took me to find it, it was mixed with their dirty sheets (the hotel doesn’t offer bath rags). Back to the room, the air conditioning was not turn on. When I turned it on, it was the same or worst than the first room. I didn’t want to argue with them because they didn’t care. I was here visiting a family member who was sick. I didn’t have the energy. On my last night, I got there late after a beach trip. When I got there all my stuff was removed from my room. When I go to the reception, she tells me that my reservation was until that date and I was supposed to leave in the morning. I made a mistake and with the dates of my reservation. No one called me or tried to get in contact with me they just took my things out. I was fed up with these people. I didn’t argue. I just left. When I got home, I new Victoria secret bra (used it twice) was gone. Parking was horrible too. I had a horrible experience."
