I am an regular client of this hotel since 85, when it was called the Cesar Park hotel. My experience has always been very positive, good and friendly service, great installations. Ample, clean and quite rooms.
I loved my stay at this hotel. I stayed at this location when it was the Veneto over 12 years ago, & it wasn’t very good for a number of reasons. Convenient to the Ave Espana area. I was disappointed that coffee or tea was not offered in the lobby for hotel guests. Overall, my stay was excellent.
The property is in a great location to be able to walk surrounding areas. The staff was great in assisting and the room was very clean and quiet. Great place to stay
The hotel was BEAUTIFUL and in such a great area (Casco Vieja). I love the fact that you could totally hang out at the hotel at the bar, spa, or at one of the many restaurants. The only suggestion that I would make is for the rooms with terraces, to chairs to the terrace. We loved going out on the terrace, but there was no seating. However, even with this suggestion, it would only bring my rating down to a 9.5.
Very cozy and quiet. I loved the aesthetics and artworks. The price was very affordable. Check-in was allowed at 4am without a reservation. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. I will definitely visit again.
My mom and I stayed two nights. The room was clean, and we could do an early check-in. It has a convenient location, is in the city's heart, and is close to a pharmacy, convenience store, and subway station.

Our experience with the staff of the Renaissance Hotel was indescribable. The entire staff starting with the front desk, the restaurant, housekeeper, concierge it made us feel welcomed since day 1. We spent 16 days and everyday was like day 1. I definitely recommend without doubt the Renaissance Hotel. Your money will be very well spend and you will be grateful, location is also a plus located in one of main avenue in Panama with walking distance for shopping and entertainment.
Large clean room, large clean hot shower bathroom with plenty of towels, tissues, toilet paper & blow dryer… oh! & toiletries too … pleasently surprised❣️ GREAT for the price, the style of the furniture is from “back in the day” but it had a charming feel and in good condition. Everything looked very clean.
The only difficult I had had nothing to do with the hotel. Iglesia del Carmen metro station is in walking distance to hotel and you can take metro to airport with 2 changes (3trains total)...
Before arrival my husband was in contact with the manager Sam. He explained how we needed three rooms, one needed to be a handicap room. At check in Sam came right up to us to advise us everything was taken care of. The check in process went very smooth and quick. Our rooms were very clean and exactly what we asked for. This is a nice hotel with a good view of Panama City, Panama, during the day and at night. Very large room. Modern decor. Clean. Continental self serve breakfast is OK. It does not have a beach.
Older property but very clean. Loved how quiet it was. We had an ocean view room. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the ships come by for the canal. Would definitely stay here again!
Great stay! We had wonderful service. The lady at the front desk recommend and arranged a taxi driver for a tour around the canal zone. We went to the Miraflores Loch visitors center and took the tour. It was amazing! We only had a few hours before heading off to Bocas del Toro, so we were able to see a lot prior to our flight out of the nearby airport. I highly recommend this hotel!
