Great service, friendly staff, good food, and very clean.

We were on a dream vacation using Guayaquil as a stop over point before heading to the Orient on a tour. My partner mistakenly left his credit cards in a bedside table drawer here. We didn't notice until a week into our vacation. On our tour, which ended in Guayaquil, we painstakingly backtracked our steps. Grand Hotel is a stunning property. They took really good care of us, from airport pick-up to giving us milk for my toddler late at night. The receptionists were happy to help us with directions and answer any queries. The Grand Hotel pool is an oasis, it was breathtaking. We stayed here two nights. Breakfast spread was amazing and the food was delicious. We ate one dinner there too, totally worth it! Excellent service, great staff, breathtaking pool, decent-sized rooms, centrally located!

This place is a hidden gem! An oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling, dirty city. It feels like home. The employees extended such hospitality that we felt like we were staying at a friends house. Highly recommend!

It was one of my best choices the staff was very courteous always willing to make you feel comfortable. The room is spacious, comfortable and very clean. I slept like a baby. Definitely I would recommend The Palace hotel to anyone you won't regret it. I stayed two nights when I arrived and when I came back i booked the same hotel two more nights just to spend my last days in Guayaquil. The apartment is exactly as pictured and described. The wifi worked well and the bedrooms had smart tvs so i was able to watch Netflix. Well stocked kitchen, warm shower and lots of security cameras. Heavy locked gates for added security. Beautiful terrace to look at the city. A couple things you should be aware of, 3rd floor no elevator but easy stairs and the shower floor is extremely slippery. Great quiet clean rooms nice place the only bad side was the restaurants only have sandwich's for dinner, we arrived at 10:30pm after a long day traveling without food (plane) we wanted a room service but wasn't available at that time we arrived hopefully they can rearrange kitchen hours thanks

This hotel has convenient, free, parking. It is clean and modern. The staff are all professional, friendly, and speak excellent english. The walls are a little thin but guests are pretty quiet. The pool on the 16th floor is open to the outside and wonderfully warm. The restaurant served an excellent buffet breakfast but dinner was so-so and pricey. I recommend finding dinner elsewhere.
