"No my room didn't overlook the beach. The room was clean and it was in a terrific location with easy access to everything. This is like a historic building. It's ginormous and it's right across from the beach so lots of rooms face the beach. It has air conditioning. We had two private bedrooms with bathroom and a fridge It suit our needs perfectly. Breakfast was included in the room price. "

"Staff are very frienldy and the hotel is very close to the beach. The rooms need a little bit of refurbishment, but it's alright for the price. It's my 3rd time at the property, and I would certainly return."
Novotel Santos Gonzaga

"From check in to room cleaning to breakfast, this has been the worst Novotel experience I’ve ever had. I am an All member and this Novotel Gonzaga was far from being a Novotel standards. Lazy service. I had to ask to do additional towels several times. Check in took 30 minutes. I took 1 hour from SP to Santos, and took 30 minutes for a lousy check in. "

"A slight view of the beach through a small window. I stayed out as long as I could to keep from spending time in the room. The bathroom was dirty and dingy. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes before I touched anything. I showered with flip flops. The beds were clean and I slept well - the only reason I gave it a two star. The location was great as well. "

"This is a luxury hotel and conference venue. The walk across the street to the beach (private and secured area for guests) makes it very comfortable and enjoyable.
Food was very good, although the sushi bar was just okay. "
