This place is in the center of Sitges, a beautiful old town on the sea, a half hour from Barcelona. The hotel is 5 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the old town, ten minutes from the beach. You can walk along the sea for several kilometers. Originally thought we were booking something in Barcelona but turned out to be a very pleasant misread. Located in the heart of the much smaller and beautiful town of Sitges, about 25-miles south of Barcelona, this hotel was an incredible find. We certainly enjoyed the Alexandre Congress Hotel. Pick up from the airport went smooth ( you may want to ask details but basically follow signs to hotel shuttles/ look for a black van with the name of the airport on it. This was a great choice to stay before our cruise. It was a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port (all taxis are metered and there are plenty of them). There were a few restaurant options around. We didn't get a chance to really see a lot of Barcelona, but it was a nice stay.

Everything was amazing! The Hotel is in a great location and has an amazing view!! The staff gave us a special welcome detail when we got to our room. Like we say in Puerto Rico: “Tienen que venir y vivir la experiencia” !!!!
We stayed at Hotel Barcelona Catedral for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. The room was a smaller than I anticipated (we had an Executive Double which did not look like the pictures) but everything else was very good.
The staff was friendly, and we used the bar for coffee, drinks, and dessert.

Place is super clean and friendly front desk staff! Rooms are small, but it’s Europe so didn’t expect much there. Location is great! It’s far from the loud city but close enough to get there by the Metro (maybe a 10 min ride, station is like 3 min walk) super close to their big metro station/bus station too! We stayed a total of 6 days and truly what was disappointing was the fact that we didn’t have a coffee maker in the room.
This was the best hotel I ever stayed at. The staff was so amazing and super nice. The location is close to so many things and I was able to walk to most of the places I wanted to see. 1000/100
