"Older hotel but well maintained dated. Spacious rooms on 22nd floor. Got extra luggage rack … don’t forget to ask. Breakfast was nice. They will make you omelettes and fresh eggs. Location is a 15 minute bolt ride to town. Nice place."
"Very convenient location 2 minutes away from the metro station and bus stop. Quite close to most tourist attractions by public transport.
Clean, well-maintained, fully furnished apartment with kitchenette. Clean bed, sheets, towels and bathroom.
Nice private terrace adjoining the apartment.
Good value for money.
Good communication with the agency who rent out this apartment. All our practical questions were answered promptly by WhatsApp. We received a lot of useful links to relevant...
"An older apartment, but with nice amenities and close to everything. The underground parking is a plus! There is no air conditioning in the apartment, which made it uncomfortable at night, but the managers promptly brought us 2 fans, which helped. They were prompt to reply with everything.
The only suggestion would be to adjust the checkout time to noon, for example. 10:00 AM is very tight to get everything packed and cleared out. Most hotels also wait until the guests are out of the...
"Perfect location in Porto for visiting all areas, very friendly & accommodating reception staff, particularly Luiz. Loved the afternoon tea on offer each day. Would highly recommend."

If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to El Corte Inglés de Gaia in Mafamude. Our travelers also like this historical area for its riverfront setting.
Teixeira Lopes House Museum is just one of the attractions in Mafamude, Mafamude e Vilar do Paraíso so you might want to stop by during your trip. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is family-friendly and has lots of nice beaches. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you want to experience more of the culture Mafamude e Vilar do Paraíso has to offer, head to El Corte Inglés de Gaia, Jardim do Morro Park, and Sandeman Cellars.
WiFi was very good.
24/7 coffee machine excellent
Breakfast was limited selection.* This all depends on your tastes and perspective.
Dining area was nice, as there was plenty of seating.
*To be fair. This is my personal opinion. I would stay here again without a second thought. There are nearby options if not interested in B&B breakfast. Overall hotel is very good. Rooms are basic, but clean and have everything that I need. Excellent value.
Great hotel with a beautiful reception area. Staff went out of there way to upgrade our room for us as I had become ill when traveling. Parking is free and easy access if traveling with a car and the train station is a short walk down the road although we found using uber was about the same price to get into city. Highly recommend hotel especially as driving into Porto is a nightmare.
Origami Porto Residencia offers a homelike environment with a clean and comfortable room, a shared kitchen and living room and a delicious breakfast. The host was very helpful and friendly and made us feel like at home.
The hotel is a $15 taxi from the train station and you could get there by metro for about $3, but we had a lot of luggage. It is right on the metro, so some may find it a little noisy. I thought it was a real convenience. No complaints.
This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it’s absolutely a 5 star experience. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We had a massage, used the complimentary sauna, enjoyed the included mini fridge items, and had breakfast in bed. The art is thoughtful and fun. The room is gorgeous, very well curated and comfortable. Don’t miss the pillow menu for your preferred fill and firmness. We stayed at the garden level and it was peaceful and...
My husband and I stayed there for our 2nd anniversary after a few days on the Porto side as we were touring a few port lodges. I can't say better things about this hotel - the people (especially Tiago) were warm and friendly, and they event treated us to complimentary drinks at the bar since our room wasn't ready upon arrival.
From the tour of the onsite wine collection (largest collection of Portugese wine in the world!), to the infinity pool, to the Michelin-starred restaurant ("The...
We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. The morning breakfast was filling and delightful.
Beautiful property in a very walkable part of Porto. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly. We did a mother daughter trip and loved being able to sit on the balcony off our room or at the rooftop bar and enjoy some wine and the sunset in the evening.
The service was awesome! The staff was super nice! Special thanks to Claudia for taking such good care of us. We were treated like family members! If we ever go back to Porto, I will choose this hotel again.
Hotel Jaguar was a nice new property. The staff was great! Extremely helpful and informative. They offer a city tour which was a really nice touch and a hotel shuttle included in your stay. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and available, we were greeted with refreshments on arrival and personally walked to our rooms. Great amenities including free access to the steam room located in the spa, a great breakfast with options for all, and a welcome gift of port waiting for us in the room. The room was spacious, with a small kitchenette and a seated living space separate from the bedroom. It’s not a far walk from the central areas of Porto, with easy access to nice places...
A great relaxing hotel with all the needed services. The spa is relatively small (not for Europe) and provide very good services professionally delivered. The breakfast is very good and excellent service.
The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed, however, be aware of lack of privacy if traveling with friends or family members, the shower is all glass and visible from all angles of the room, the toilet a bit better but not totally private either.
Overall a great property, centrally...
