Hotels in Ionia

I had a 5-night stay that was made very pleasant by Maddie (sp?) who offered to make me fresh coffee when I checked out at 4:30 am, and always had a positive attitude with any of my asks. This place is situated in between many farms and corn fields, at a truck stop, so the smell was very strong when it came in on the wind. There were times it didn't smell, too, so it's weather-based. Clean and easy to find. Odd location but Walmart is across the road

Honestly we checked in about 4:30 and the front desk was worried, our room wasn’t ready they only had 2 housekeeping staff and told me they didn’t know when we would be able to get in our room. They were very apologetic and upgraded our room to a king suite so we could get in right away. Very professional and eager to make it right. The hotel is very charming and clean. Lowell is a cute tiny and the locals are very nice. Service was great at hotel and nearby restaurant. Only downside of the hotel room was no thermostat to control individual room temp so it was a little chilly but not unbearable.

This is a comfortable hotel with up to date looking rooms and amenities. The staff is friendly and keeps the place very clean. The breakfast selection is above average, including hot items like eggs, bacon, sausage, and a pancake machine! The location is near fast food, grocery stores, and close to downtown Hastings. We slept well on comfortable beds and enjoyed the pool. Our room also had a mini fridge and a nice TV.

Very cool historic hotel. We had a great time hanging out in the bar downstairs and then only had to walk up to our room. The bathroom looked updated and was extremely clean. The king size bed was super comfortable.

It was great! Was able to use my debit card which must hotels don’t allow and I do not have a credit card. The only negative was the drinks were a little more than I’d like to pay.

Prior to booking I called to clarify the shuttle issue that I had read in the reviews. Spoke w Sam, who was pleasant and assured me the issue had been fixed. Upon checking in I met Sam who was amazing w a quick checkin, upper floor room request and several suggestions on where to eat and more importantly where to have my car tire looked at. The hotel was clean,the staff friendly and helpful.the only negative thing is that the pool room did not also have a hot tub.the breakfast choices were very good.

Out of all the hotel's i have stayed, this hotel is by far the best. Very clean, quiet, beds are comfortable and there is a lot of stuff near by. We had a suite and were able to cook, the room comes with cooking utensils and dishes. This hotel is certainly worth every penny. Wish the pool was open but due to the virus they had to close the pool. Will be returning to this hotel. 10 stars from my family and i
