Learn more about Point Reyes Station
Tucked between rolling hills and coastal wilderness, this tiny town serves as the gateway to natural wonders. Fuel up with farm-fresh oysters and artisanal cheeses at Main Street's cafes before exploring. The nearby National Seashore offers windswept beaches where elephant seals lounge and whales pass seasonally. Hike fog-kissed trails to the historic lighthouse on coastal cliffs. Limantour Beach provides perfect picnic spots with surprisingly few crowds. After adventure, browse the independent bookstore or join locals at the saloon where rangers and farmers share tales over local brews. Visit the farmers market before heading to Tomales Bay State Park for kayaking among harbor seals.

Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely room- nice balcony & view. Staff on the street helping with car & luggage was over the top friendly and helpful. We loved him!"
The Evergreen
10/10 Excellent
"This property is very nice. In a great location, very clean and well kept. Nicely done."
The Lodge at Tiburon
8/10 Good
"Comfortable room, but not enough towels in the rooms, just 2 and no bathroom mat. Morning coffee area was messy, but coffee good."
Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael at Marin Center
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for a conference and food, drink and snacks were readily available and great. The bartender was the best. We will be back"
Cavallo Point
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is very nice and great location. Only 10-15 minute bike ride to Sausalito and 10 minute bike ride to the Golden Gate Bridge. Really great solitude just on the edges of San Francisco. Suggest staying in the newer modern rooms and upgrade to a suite."
Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country Petaluma
8/10 Good
"For a Sheraton, you expect a little better. This property is ok. If you want to order food from the restaurant, it's always a long wait to get your food as they don't have much staff. Sometimes it's only the bartender. I swear it takes so long to get your food that he must be running to the back to cook it too! Lol. Food is just ok. Very annoying that the hotel shares a huge parking lot with other businesses, yet charges a daily parking fee. Feels so nickle and dime."
