Pineapple Grove Arts District flips the warehouse-to-art-space story into something actually worth your time. Brick buildings burst with color from wild murals while artists actually work in studios you can peek into. The Arts Garage hosts live shows that'll make you forget you're in a former industrial zone. Self-guided tours let you explore at your own pace without some tour guide breathing down your neck.
Dining options range from farm-to-table spots to craft breweries where locals hang out after monthly art walks. Stay in boutique inns with creative vibes instead of cookie-cutter hotels. The compact district is super walkable, though you'll need wheels to hit the beaches two miles east.
Atlantic Avenue buzzes with tropical energy in Downtown Delray Beach. Art lovers wander between galleries while beachgoers stroll just blocks from the shore. Historic buildings like the Mediterranean-style Colony Hotel stand alongside modern boutiques and sidewalk cafes. The Arts Garage and Delray Beach Market offer entertainment options when you're not splashing in the Atlantic.
Dining options range from casual cafes to upscale bistros with fresh seafood dominating many menus. Most attractions sit within the walkable downtown core, with a free trolley connecting the beach to inland spots. Boutique hotels in restored historic buildings offer character-filled stays just steps from the action.
Marina District
Delray Beach's Marina District delivers waterfront luxury with a side of Florida sunshine. Stroll along the Intracoastal promenades where million-dollar yachts bob in crystal waters while palm trees sway overhead. Atlantic Avenue beckons with upscale boutiques and art galleries that will make your credit card sweat. The Sandoway Discovery Center offers a fascinating peek into marine life for curious minds of all ages.
Dining here means fresh seafood with water views, where reservations are definitely your friend. Modern high-rise condos and vacation rentals dominate the accommodation scene, complete with resort-worthy pools and concierge service. Getting around is best done on foot or by renting a golf cart to zip between marinas and waterfront cocktail spots.
Delray Beach Shores invites you to kick back where sugar-white sand meets turquoise Atlantic waters. Oceanfront promenades wind past swaying palms and protected dune systems where sea turtles nest. Spend your days soaking up rays at Atlantic Dunes Park Beach, exploring Sandoway Discovery Center, or strolling the scenic coastline with picture-perfect views.
High-end beachfront condos and luxury resorts offer stunning ocean panoramas with full-service amenities. Upscale oceanfront restaurants serve fresh seafood while beachside cafés provide casual alternatives. Getting around is breezy with dedicated bike lanes and walkable beachfront areas, though having a car helps explore beyond the shore.
Lake Ida Shores delivers the Florida dream without the tourist crowds. This peaceful lakeside neighborhood gives you front-row access to boating, fishing, and serene water views. Take morning walks under sprawling oaks or spend afternoons at nearby Lake Ida Park with its fishing piers and picnic spots. Downtown Delray Beach's attractions are just a short drive away.
You'll need a car to get around this residential haven since public transit is limited. Dining means venturing to Atlantic Avenue's restaurant scene, but the tradeoff is worth it. Vacation rentals with private pools and boat docks make this quiet community perfect for travelers seeking authentic Florida living.

Haven't been to Delray bch since before covid so it has changed a lot. Used to be a great area for a staycation but the crowds have tripled, prices are completely inflated, and the magic is gone. So many restaurants and stores have closed. It was sad

"This place we loved couldn’t find anything wrong with it except one thing and that wasn’t a big deal, but the balconies should’ve been more private. Other than that the rooms, the service the bar everything was great. The food was delicious."
