The check in was quick and very friendly. The property is very clean and the rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Parking is more than ample and the location is great, if not central, for the area.
Of the hotels in Burlington, this is the only one I will stay in.
Alpa was very kind and helpful to us. Helped us find an available room in anther hotel when this one was booked solid and we needed to stay another night.
Also, my wife forgot her special travel pillow there, and when I told Alpa about it, she said she would ship it back to my house, and let me use my credit card to pay her back for the postage. She didn't ask for a dime for all the time and trouble of doing it.
And cheerfully got me the extra towels my long haired wife and daughter needed,...
The hostess, Laura, is so friendly and happy to help in any way she can. The home is beautiful and full of interesting history! It's a treat to stay here!
This bed and breakfast is wonderful! It is clean, comfortable, old style and charming. The breakfasts are served at 8:00 am and are absolutely delicious, homemade, and filling meals. What a great start for the day! The bed was comfortable. The innkeeper is kind and courteous. The area is quiet and beautiful, and is a few blocks away from the main shopping area of Nauvoo. When I go back to Nauvoo, staying at this bed and breakfast will be a must!
We booked one night here for what we thought would be a day trip to Nauvoo. Way too much to see in just one day so we extended our stay another night. Not only was the room clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but the staff quickly took my tablet computer to the post office and shipped it home to me after I got back to chicago and realized it was missing!!!
When circumstances arose that made me arrive late for my reservation, the staff at this hotel was understanding and accomaditing. The room was clean and comfortable and the conplimentary breakfast was excellent. Food was fresh and offered a wide variety. The attendant kept the area stocked and clean. I highly recommend this facility!
Our expectations were low when we pulled into the hotel, it wasn’t the best looking from the outside. Checking in the staff was amazing and very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. Because of our stay, a friend and his family stayed the next night. We would definitely stay there again.
The nice hotel is for a reasonable price. The check-in is easy and the staff is very friendly. Room and the surounding are clean. The room seems having recent remodeling and the moden furniture and the styling is in a good taste. The breakfast is OK.
I'd stay there next time.
