Albany Merchants Hotel

"This isnt the typical hotel most are used to. The single room I had was basically a private bedroom with your own bathroom. Not very big at all. That being said it was very nice, very clean, and the bathroom was updated. They have a deck out back that is pretty nice and a restaurant downstairs that was very good! They aren't open for breakfast which was slightly disappointing but there is an excellent bakery a 5 minute walk to the west, a coffee shop a few minutes to the east, and a catering place to the east of that that serves breakfast from what I seen on Google. Id definitely stay again"

"Door card didn't work the second try. T V loose plug did not work. Had ti wiggle plug to work. Not happy with Expedia. Charged 3 nights and we only stayed 2 nights"

"Rooms were clean enough. The exterior is dated, needs paint or new siding and maintenance on the parking lot. Breakfast was just OK if you like carbohydrates. I would stay here again as overall it's acceptable."

"It was expected for an average hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were accommodating to our dog. I know they have free breakfast but I didn't check it out, so I'm not sure how the breakfast is."

"I enjoyed the stay because it was relaxing and it was clean I was disappointed that the hot tub was not in service I partly was looking forward to using that. We did use the pool which was refreshing we actually had it all to ourselves does not happen often. It's a little worn you could tell but still we had fun and was refreshed. Sai (Manager on duty) was amazing, very courteous and hospitable which was refreshing. The suite was just as described so was definitely happy about that, so all in all no complaints and I would return to stay there again just would hope to be able to use the hot tub."
