"The hotel is in the process of a major facelift so the outside is not tip top right now but what they have done including our room, was great! They did a really good job updating and making the property look very chic. The rooms were very quiet and comfortable. The view of the mountains right outside your hotel room door is amazing! I think once they finish all their updates everything will be even better! I did notice that they did not have a hair dryer in the room and there's not an ice machine on property. These things would improve the stay as well."

"The worst experience ever. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm, at 5pm was told the room is still not ready. We had to sit in the lobby until the room was “ready” The front desk said she couldn’t even “call” us when the room was ready and we had to come back and check. She couldn’t even put us in another room, because it didn’t comp what we paid… Eventually cleaning crew said they are no longer cleaning and our room wouldn’t be ready. Front desk eventually put us in a ADA room. We asked for a bottom floor room, due to traveling with luggage and she put us on a second floor. The reasoning was it was close to an elevator. Room was dirty. Found hairs on the bed and toilet. Will attach photos! At this point , we were just happy to get a room. checked out at 8am … and no food at breakfast. No coffee, no plates….. like why even advertise it. When we checked out the elevator didn’t work and the ice machine didn’t work. What a jinx By the way we were traveling with a newborn, paid extra for the bassinet + 1 person. Couldn’t be any worse of an experience. I’ve never written a review, but this experience calls for it. "

" Very warm and cozy place! Love the design of the resort and staffs super friendly and helpful! The furnitures are kinda breaking and shaking… the dinning table on the deck was barely holding it together. Coffee maker was so much dirt and residue! But stills love the place!! "

"This hotel is in an unbeatable location right outside Zion, making it the perfect base for getting a head start on the park trails. The surrounding mountain views are breathtaking, and the property is an incredible spot for watching the sunrise, sunset, and even stargazing at night. The highlight of our stay was definitely breakfast at Porters; it was by far the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever experienced. While the beds were very comfortable, our stay wasn't perfect, as we booked two rooms and one had a strange smell, while the other had a towel stained with makeup. Despite those housekeeping issues, the convenience and the food would still make us consider staying here again. Also there is a shuttle connection to zion right outside the hotel."
