We were sailing today on the carnival Firenze so decided to stay right next-door on the Queen Mary the night before. This ship is amazingly beautiful, such history after 90 years of service. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room spacious, considering the age of the ship and how they used to design them. The staff is very nice, friendly and welcoming. I didn't like the parking rate. It was very high. Ialso didn't like the destination passport. It made no sense since they gave us credit for the same amount to use for food and beverage. It's their way of making you spend 3-4 times as much for dining on the premises.
The staff were super helpful. There wasn't as much outside noise as some of the other reviews made me think there would be. Beds were comfortable, the amenities were great, and if you're taking a Carnival Cruise the hotel is across the street from Carnival's free shuttle to the port. We would definitely stay here again.
This was by far the most kid friendly place we’ve ever stayed with amazing customer service. When we got there, I had a bad back spasm going on and 2 kids who’d been cooped up all day on a long drive. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They offered the kids both indoor and outdoor games.
