Learn more about Idaho Springs
Mineral-rich waters await at Indian Hot Springs, where geothermal caves offer a soothing soak after mountain adventures. Try your hand at panning for gold at Phoenix Gold Mine, where the rush of '59 still echoes through tunnels. The historic downtown packs surprising character into its compact main street, with mining-era buildings housing local craft breweries and mountain-town cafes. For spectacular views, head up to Saint Mary's Glacier or tackle the challenging Mount Blue Sky trails. The Georgetown Loop Railroad nearby offers a scenic journey through Rocky Mountain splendor on a historic narrow-gauge line. After exploring Argo Mill's mining exhibits, reward yourself with a hearty meal at one of the unpretentious eateries where hikers and bikers swap tales of mountain conquests.

Comfort Inn & Suites Denver West - Golden
"very quiet good breakfast and helpful folks all around. room clean and lots of supplies for easy use."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Littleton/Red Rocks
"We just went on a month long road trip in which we stayed at a different hotel every night. That’s 30 plus stays in a row. What stood out about this stay was the staff. Every single person we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. Each staff member went out of their way to help in any way that they could. I highly recommend this particular hotel. 10/10 would recommend!"
Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk
"A great pool and hot tub, great bars and restaurants!"
Origin Red Rocks, a Wyndham Hotel
"Rooms were pristine. Staff were wonderful. It’s the one and only location if you are attending a concert at Red Rocks."
Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge, Curio Collection by Hilton
"Lovely property"
Table Mountain Inn
"Great location, right on the main street in Golden. Friendly staff, easy on-site parking, comfortable bed, great shower pressure. Small bathroom but this is an old hotel. Book the Table mountain side for a better view and deck. The cucumber water in the lobby was so refreshing!"
Hyatt Vacation Club at The Ranahan
"Loud occupants above us, so I asked for a second floor room and was told by the front desk there were none available. Yet I saw another guest check in and was given an upper floor."
Village at Breckenridge, A Vail Resorts Property
"The property exceeded our expectations. Our first visit to Breckenridge so I took a chance on this property. It was wonderful! We especially loved the proximity to Main Street and all that it offered."
Argo Inn and Suites
"The room appeared recently updated and the beds were comfortable. However, the floor was VERY sandy and the shower head was about 5’4 high which made showering very difficult for anyone taller than 5’4. Additionally, we paid for a river view room and room 129 does NOT have a river view. It has a patio view and you can walk around 3 rooms to get to the river view. I was thoroughly disappointed by this as we LOVE this property and watching the river."
