"Very basic hotel with bare bones furnishings in the room, NO BREAKFAST or even coffee in the morning. Room was clean, towels were old. Bring your own shampoo!"

"I booked this room because I’m currently on a weight loss journey, and my entire body was sore. I specifically wanted to use the hot tub for healing and rejuvenation purposes, only to find out that it closes at 9 PM. Unfortunately, I didn’t arrive until 9, so I was unable to use it. Since the hot tub was the main reason I reserved the room in the first place, I feel I’m entitled to some type of refund or compensation due to not being able to access the amenity that influenced my booking decision."

"Our stay at the Hampton Inn Flowood was very pleasant. This place was spotless! That stands out among other things like the exceptional staff. They were so friendly and helpful. We have traveled several times this spring with stays at different establishments that didn’t live up to this hotel. Not even close! Hot coffee all day and a full breakfast in the morning were nice too. Lastly, updated large screen TV, touch screen bathroom mirror, and great AC added to the exceptional experience we had. We highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again for sure."

"Rooms are great. The only thing I don’t like there is the bathroom. The toilets are the smallest available and for older people or someone with knee or hip issues it hurts to sit down on. They said all the rooms have the child size toilets. "

"I booked this place because of the cleanliness ratings. VERY INACCURATE. Upon arrival, I noticed a strong urine odor. I also almost slipped on a slick substance in the bathroom. I tried to clean the toilet a bit, but the smell persisted. Eventually, I asked to be moved to a new room because the smell was so overwhelming that I couldn’t sleep. The desk was unhelpful and indifferent. I was told there were no rooms left. There was no offer to send a cleaning crew or even inspect the room. I emphasized that the smell was terrible, and the front desk said, "Oh, I guess I'll have to make a note to management, that's all I can do to help you." This was said, but there was no attempt to get my name or room number, which made it very clear that no complaint would be filed. Eventually, I went back to my room after an unsuccessful attempt to relocate via the platform. After falling asleep, I woke up and noticed a weird substance on one of my pillows. I realized that the urine smell was coming from my sheets/bedding because they had not been changed or cleaned. Traumatizing. There was also hair everywhere, stains/spots, and food in the microwave. But URINE SCENTED SHEETS is the takeaway here."
