The Madeline is a stunning luxury hotel situated in the heart of Mountain Village. Ideal location with an easy walk to the gondola, eliminating the need for a car to get in and out of town. From the moment we checked in, we experienced outstanding hospitality with a meticulously curated stay. Traveling with our 9-month-old for the first time, we arrived at our room to find a crib, complete with bath toys, supplies, diapers, and more. Throughout our stay, we received even more thoughtful gifts...
We like the comfortable room and the staff are so helpful (little things like switching out Med Roast for stronger brew or the great selection of organic tea, or making sure we had non-feather pillows). We like that it is not on the main street and parking onsite. It is above a restaurant but the low volume of noise was doable and the band on the last night was great! And restaurants, parade and fireworks are within walking distance.
We had a great stay at Bridal Veil B&B. We had the whole downstairs and even though there are two bedrooms downstairs, the owners only rent to one party at a time. That meant the two of us had complete privacy and didn't have to share the bathroom. It was like having our own little condo! The owners are very friendly, warm, and eager to make your stay very comfortable.
This nicely renovated hotel on the main street in Ouray was the perfect place to stay. Nice views of the mountains, great location, and although the front desk is open limited hours--the people working there are very welcoming and very helpful. I will come back!
Really love the property and the woman who ran it was so so wonderful. She gave me great tips and advice on things to do and was just very personally attentive to me as a lodging person —totally love my stay there. Will stay again.
We LOVED our stay at Hot Springs Inn! We were warmly received at the reception desk and the ladies there were very happy to help us locate a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The room was lovely, and the beds and pillows were SO comfortable!! We loved the sound of the river right outside our room off our balcony. We walked to town both nights we were there. Great restaurants and coffee shops! The town is so picturesque...like right out of a Hallmark movie! You must visit Ouray and Hot Springs Inn...
The hotel we usually stay at in Ouray was fully booked so we decided to try the China Clipper based on the reviews we read. We’re so glad we did. Our room was amazing and Charles and Melissa were wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back.
This was a dream come true for us to be able to go back in time and stay at the Beaumont. However, not sacrificing any comforts. The spa lotions, the pillows, the bed , the robes, the tub and on and on. We loved it. We also loved the view from the second floor, breathtaking!
We came in late at night and were climbing Mt Sneffels at 5am the next morning. Our host Kim loaded up our mini fridge that night with yogurt, muffins, pastries, and eggs because she knew we wouldn't be there for the free breakfast. She really does care about service and goes well beyond what I've come to expect from your average hotel staff. The room had a was perfect and stocked with a kitchenette (fridge, cooktop, sink, utensils, pots/pans, etc.). The grounds were immaculate and my wife took...
Wonderful hotel, friendly & helpful staff. Beautiful room. Breakfast was a bit overstated; just bread that could be toasted and fruit. We’ve stayed here twice and would stay here again.
The Box Canyon Lodge is a great place to stay when in and around Ouray. Love the location because you can walk to all the restaurants and shops and Box Canyon entrance as well as the Ice Park entrance are not far. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. The hot springs are an added bonus and well worth to spend some time soaking the stress away.
