We cannot say enough about Hotel El Silencio Del Campo! First, the people who work here are excellent. They were very helpful, positive and clearly cared about our experience. I had my birthday while we stayed there and they helped my husband purchase flowers and a cake. The woman who cleaned our room made an adorable figure out of the towels. The front desk folks also helped us make a reservation at Travesia (which I highly recommend). When we asked for recommendations for pizza take out...
This was an amazing hotel, the property was beautiful and there are trails for you to explore through the jungle. The rooms were simple and rustic, not too fancy which is exactly what we were looking for. The staff, including Diego, is extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Would not hesitate to go back!
We loved the opportunity to enjoy the real hot springs, and actually felt the curative effects.
The walk from our rooms to the springs took about 15 min. You could also drive there or get a lift from the front desk staff. The hotel is comfortable, and very clean. We felt safe. The staff were friendly, the food was good. The hot springs were amazing. All genuine natural hot pools heated by the nearby volcano. The water full of curative minerals. A swim up bar, a sauna, pools of various...
The rooms are big and beautiful. The enclosed balcony is lovely. They have options o tea and coffee in the room. The property and the soundings are beautiful!
Suwa Villa Arenal is one of the best places at which I have stayed! We had four guests and stayed for four nights in mid-March. Beautiful rooms with an outdoor patio and chairs, and A/C. Very clean and fully stocked communal kitchen, with a super cute and lush lounge area on the side. There are laundry machines available to use, with 2 free detergent pods provided. There was also a mini jacuzzi (temporarily cold water when we visited), and a fireplace for hanging out outside at night. Parking is...
We stayed one night prior to leaving Costa Rica. The hotel’s shuttle picked us up at the Sansa terminal and brought us directly to the property. The property has a terrific view of San Jose and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Our plan was to spend a relaxing afternoon and evening at the hotel after completing our self administered Covid tests to return to the US. Unfortunately, my test result came back invalid. I went to the front desk and asked if they...
My 4 year old son and I loved it here. They helped us with airport transfer and it was an awesome stay. Love that this is a family run business as well.
My stay at Los Lagos could not have been anymore magical! The resort is beautiful, so many hidden places to explore. I saw so many birds, lizards, wild boars and other critters during my walks. Loved spending my mornings drinking coffee on my rooms balcony, hearing the jungle slowly wake up Every single person working at the hotel from the wait staff to housekeeping were nothing short of amazing and attentive. Depending on where your room is situated, may be a bit of a hike from the...
We went to celebrate our 30th anniversary and we had an incredibly good time. The service at the restaurant was very nice and the cleaning service was perfect (Selena was very helpful, great job). We recommend this wonderful place.
The photos don't do this fantastic hotel justice! It's in a beautiful, lush, verdant, vibrant location, a mere 300 meters walk from the stunning La Fortuna waterfall.
While we ate breakfast, several tucans landed about 15 feet from our table in the tree right off the restaurant. Also, an adorable parot named Lola is their indoor/outdoor pet, and comes and visits twice a day to eat and socialize. She's very friendly and sociable.
Also, the food in the hotel restaurant is outstanding! We...
