Learn more about Skaneateles
Finger Lakes perfection awaits at crystal-clear Skaneateles Lake, where boat tours reveal why locals pronounce it 'skinny-atlas' with such pride. East Genesee Street's historic storefronts house boutiques and galleries that make window-shopping an art form. The Skaneateles Festival brings world-class musicians to perform against a backdrop of sunset-painted waters. Charlie Major Nature Trail offers peaceful lakeside wandering, while Anyela's Vineyards pours local vintages with panoramic views. After browsing the curious collections at the Historical Society, grab an outdoor table at a lakefront restaurant where the farm-to-table fare arrives with a side of million-dollar views. For the full experience, arrive during Christmas when the village transforms into a Dickensian wonderland.

Days Inn by Wyndham Syracuse
"Arrived a bit later in the evening around maybe 10:30 and the lady in the front was super sweet I wish I caught her name but she was wet engaging and fun to check in with. Room was a kind size and it seemed even bigger than that! Comfy bed, fluffy pillows, would’ve liked maybe a little thicker blanket to cover with but the room did have an extra on top shelf of closet area so that was nice. AC was on point and kept us nice and cold all night long. Shower was good with soap and shampoo/conditioner combo provided. Water pressure was iffy, but that would be the only thing with the room. Spacious, nice, covered recliner in the room, adequate shelving space and decent sized tv. Lighting was also good as some can be a bit dark. We didn’t grab breakie but did peep in and it had waffles, cereal, and some pastries and juice. We heft before taking it in as we had to go, but would’ve eaten had we had time. Staff was super friendly overall. I was looking for the ice machine and one cleaning lady told me it was on the first floor. As I started looking around another asked what I needed help finding and then directed me right to it. Super friendly. Would recommend this place and would definitely stay again."

"No human to check you in and only 1 washer with 1 dryer. Also a crazy woman outside on our third night screaming so the police were here. That said the room was comfortable and clean."
Finger Lakes Lodging
"We had a king bed, which was extremely comfortable, and there was a small fridge which we wanted. Everything was very clean and the bathroom too. There was a back door to the room which opened out onto a porch area, where there were a couple of Adirondack chairs booking out onto fields. The main room for making tea and coffee was literally only a machine that provided hot water or coffee and there was a coffee pot where someone had made a whole pot of coffee. Other than creamer and sugar there was nothing else offered. The location of the lodging was ideal for us to be able to drive the car into downtown and find a public parking lot that was only six dollars for the whole day. The restaurant across from the lodging is Italian and very good so that was convenient on our second night. I would recommend this place as it is reasonably priced in comparison to some of the other accommodations I had researched. We would definitely go back."
