The well / recently updated condition of the hotel is far better than revealed in the photos of the property. The service was efficient and courteous. They have a lovely Japanese restaurant onsite that was full when we dined. People from outside also came in to dine. The pool and the bar were relatively small, but not that it bothered us. Our stay at this venue was fantastic! The cabins themselves were extremely charming - new construction with a great kitchenette, modern bathroom, comfortable beds. On the estate, there are sheep to watch and a common area for activities. Dave and Helen were such welcoming and helpful hosts! Their personal touches such as the freshly baked lemon loaf and recommendations to eat in town made the stay even enjoyable.
