"mediocre stay in every way. flush was broken, sink was clogged and accumulated water, there was an old cracker wrapper under the bed, heater/ac smelled burned, breakfast barely passes as edible, it was just very mediocre, not something i hated, but wouldn't necessarily recommend to anyone to stay here. staff was nice tho."

"My room was a non-smoking room and I found a half cigarette on the floor behind the nightstand. There was a large dime size or nickel size piece of fuzz or something and a long hair in the tile floor clearly missed or not inspected or not cleaned at all. The alarm clock was “on” and set to go off at midnight, a real pet peeve of mine that housekeepers do not check these and make sure the alarm is turned off. Just before midnight I heard what sounded like an alarm clock beeping in an adjacent room and continued through the night and morning. Maybe someone doing this for fun and games ? Really bad!"

"The room was very dirty. Stains everywhere. Dirty rag outside the door. I felt dirty the whole time I was staying there but thankfully it was only one night. I would never return. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm taking the time to leave this one, so no one makes the same mistake I did. "

"Account for parking ahead - I had to go to a public lot a few blocks away but it isn't expensive anywhere around and I had no issues really, just had to figure it out. Really cool place to stay for a bit of Richmond history and very walkable area."

"The room was dirty. The bathroom smelled terrible. The receptionist was rude. The elevator wasn't working, and when I told them I had knee problems, they simply said, "If you don't like it, take your money back and find another place." The entire building smells bad—specifically of cigarette smoke. The woman working the front desk is the rudest person I have ever met."
