I've stayed at Het Rechthuis probably 10 times. The food, room and staff are great and if you like a chilled, relaxed village atmosphere, this place is it. A couple minute walk and there are restaurants and pubs along the Amstel River.

ONE THING I NOTICED WITH MY BILL THO IS THAT THE RECEIPT SHOWED ALL THE NUMBERS OF MY CREDIT CARD. MOST PLACES ARE BEING MUCH MORE PRUDENT AND SHOWING ONLY THE LAST 4 NUMBERS FOR SAFETY REASONS. IT IS NOT AN "AIRPORT HOTEL" TO ME HOWEVER AS IT IS 25 KILOMETERS FROM THE AIRPORT AND NOT VERY HANDY.

We were there overnight. A very short drive out of town. The hotel is lovely. Staff were friendly, room was much bigger and more comfortable than what's available in town for the same price. Definitely worth it if you have a car. Not much in the neighborhood; in the summer I am sure the green areas would be beautiful, but it was winter so they were a bit grey and rainy (well, it's the Netherlands!).
Great option for close proximity to the airport. Very nice for the price - newly remodeled with the decor you see in typical 4 star properties. Very clean, quiet and super comfortable.
This was my first time in Amsterdam. Used the hotel for 3 nights before leaving on a 21 day cruise. The rooms are wonderful. Bathroom and shower all modern. Food options good for staying at the hotel. The daily use for the shuttle to and from the airport worked terrific. We used it for getting to the airport with all the trains going anywhere. The staff was warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and I decided to take the breakfast which is a marvelous spread of different foods. Highly recommended!
This hotel was great! The staff was very friendly. There are not shops on site, but the hotel has a wonderful free shuttle service to and from the airport, where you can get food, souvenirs or just people watch! It was a good choice to stay.
I enjoyed my stay at the WB hotel. There was a shuttle and easy access to the airport. The vending machine helped with snacks. The bathroom was clean. The room was clean.
Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Loads of bike paths. Breakfast buffet quality is a whole new level. Like being between airport and city center.
The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.
