"When first going in the receptionists was rude and blunt. My husband and I just rented a room for the night to get away and just relax. She was abrupt and rude, while checking in which just made the entire start of the night negative. We both could not sleep and decided to go get a snack at 2am. When we walked down the hall we scared her on accident. She was in a much better mood and friendly at this late time. Made it to breakfast about ten minutes before it was over and they still had fresh items coming out which was nice. Overall it was a good experience, we have stayed here before at Christmas with all of our kids and the staff was absolutely amazing. I think they had set such high standards the negativity when we first checked in this time, was frustrating. But it turned out fine."

"Location of the hotel and hotel staff were excellent. The food at the Trophy Room bar was very good and a decent value. Only rated 4 stars due to a mildew smell in our room as well as a glitchy air conditioner."
